I watched about 45 minutes of it last night. I was a bit intrigued, but honestly, I was getting bored. Weird is an appropriate description for it. I'll finish it when I get a chance.

Yeah, I really like Wes, and can usually endure his often slow pace because it pays off (and you get treated to all sorts of subtle beauty along the way) but I found this one so tedious to stay with. I watched it on an transatlantic flight, stuck with nowhere to go and it was still hard to keep watching.

The Wes Anderson short films on Netflix based on the Roald Dahl stories are fantastic. Asteroid City, notsomuch.
