Granted the two teams they have scrimmaged against were very short handed, but then the Pels didnt have Zion and they really didnt play their starters a lot
They did what a good team is supposed to do to a bad or shorthanded team...they dominated from start to finish

NAW and Hayes have gotten a lot of minutes and have played well which hopefully will pay dividends when the games matter

We'll know if they are on the right track this week. The NBA is clearly trying to showcase the Pelicans in a lot of the remaining games primarily because Zion is one of their biggest products this season and they know a lot of folks will tune in to watch him. It sure would be great for the NBA if the Pels could grab the 8th playoff spot. They want a Lakers/Pelicans match-up more than anything.

Too bad we couldn't keep playing warm-up games. :jpshakehead:
It's just not fair! Now that the games count toward a playoff berth, our opponents are really trying and playing to win. :hm:
