Any of you other LSU fans want to chime in and tell me what you expect from the Tigers this season? Are they championship material?

Potentially championship material. Think back to what they were able to accomplish in 2011 with talent, Chavis's defense, and Lee/Jefferson at QB. Every year is different but this program has proven to simply reload. It's a tired but true saying that we will go as far as the QB can take us. The team has a full roster capable of winning every game. LSU could also lose a few. That's the nature of the game played with an oblong ball, and refereed by shills from Birmingham lol.

Well the big questions for this year are O-line, D-line, and QB maturation.

Our O-line from LT-C is gonna change. They are giving Collins a chance to win the spot, which leaves LG and C up for grabs. They have been trying Pocic a LT recruit out at C. The right side should be great with our two youngsters returning.

D-line all our DE's are new or very young and inexperienced except Rasco who didn't play much last year. Our DT's I think will be very good though.

I pray Mett developed patience and confidence since last year. The kid has talent but doesn't show it consistently. If he can take command and lead our offense then we will go far.

The only two other questions I have is will someone stand up and take charge of our #1 WR. We didn't have a dominate WR last year that Mett could go to in an emergency. Also, who is gonna replace Minter at MLB?

We will always be a championship caliber team based on talent , question is can ole mad hatter put it all together. He had it in 11 but his arrogance did that team in in the end. At least he finally admitted he cannot run an offense by hiring a real OC. That said i think we compete again and if the offense is improved then we have a shot. Same offense from last season = no shot

The tidbits I'm hearing from spring practice are very encouraging. We've been a good offense away for years now and I think Cameron will get us over that hump. Miles has just about completely turned the reins over to Cameron. New tempo, new cadence, new terminology and most important, new plays that work to our strengths.

Yea that is what I am hearing too. LSU never lacked for talent, but suffer from poor offensive organzation, management, and coaching. Hard to imagine having one of the top programs in the country with one of the worst offenses. LSU could be scary good with a compitent offensive coordinator. It is crazy to think about how close they got to winnig multiple championships with a disaster of an offense. If Cameron can improve the offense by half they will be frightening.

Agree with all this but I don't think we are quite championship material yet. Defense is young and talented but not a lot of proven players yet, plus depth along the DL is going to be a huge concern if Rasco, Ferguson, or Johnson are injured. Offense should be improved, OL should be really good. WR's will be about the same, probably a little better if Dural or Johnson can make an impact. I'm hoping Dickson comes along at TE and that DeSean Smith can make an impact from day 1. I feel good about this team, they will surprise some people.

I predict an undefeated season, followed by a 3rd BCS NC and then Miles' termination a few hours after the trophy ceremony...
