I refuse to believe Bushrod does not know the dont say you are not playing policy and I wonder if SP said just tell them you are hurt so they make this great gameplan to blitz that side and I am going to put you and a TE or Streif as a TE on that side all day.
Then with Kyle he takes his special teams captian a backup S in Reis and a QB!!! and tells them go play with snapping long just so all this NY media gets to see something crazy!!!

Something tells me the Saints are playing with the Jets a bit... Dont be surprised if Bushrod practices Friday and plays... JMO

This could be true with Bushrod............IF there were no such thing as game plan adjustments. Don't you think that after the 1st series of Bushrod and a TE or Strief lining up on the left, Rex Ryan would make the defensive adjustment.

Secondly, Payton said in the news conference today he expected Jason Kyle to play.

I don't think you can lie about the injury report. I think either the player is listed as questionable or probable and game time decision. You can;t say the player is out and on gameday he suits up to play.

The above is correct. There are NFL rules governing the reporting of injuries.

That does still leave a little wiggle-room however, but I doubt that Sean Payton is doing much of this right now.

The only thing about that is that the official injury report isn't out yet. The only thing official is that Bushrod didn't participate in practice today. As long as he's not out on the injury report, he can still play with no penalty from the NFL.

How fortunate are you to have two guys like Jermon Bushrod and Zach Strief who have some experience and can fill in for him? “Those guys have been here and we’ve worked with them and developed them. Both of them have played now in important games and I think that both of them will be ready this week. Both of them played last week in Buffalo, so they both have experience.”

Conflicting reports.

I wouldn't put it past SP on this one. He's never been 4-0 as the Saints HC. He won't say it, but he wants to show Ryan this isn't the same Saints team the Ravens beat in 06.'

SP KNOWS this is the best Saints team he has ever fielded, and they're special. I think he will pull out all the stops the same way he did to his mentor, Bill Parcells, in that 06' Dallas game.

Lookin' forward to the fireworks from this one.
