Yeah, it's really not going anywhere. I thought about maybe linking some kind of information about who Kobe Buffalomeat is or why Kobe Buffalomeat justifies having his own thread, but I decided that would just detract from the simple joy of knowing that someone somewhere out there in this world is in fact named Kobe Buffalomeat.

Y'all haters can stick with your USDA Choice Buffalomeat.

If he's American, his name should be "Kobe-style". Only Japanese are full Kobe.

Contrats Kobe-style Buffalomeat!

do you know for a fact that this is true for Buffalomeat? Are there in fact even Buffalo in Japan? I think we should retain the cooler name on this one.

Is his middle name Wagyu by chance? If so he is probably a member of the American Wagyu Association. The meat from Wagyu cattle is known worldwide for its marbling characteristics and naturally enhanced, flavor, tenderness, and juiciness. Wagyu takes steak to another level. Just as Champagne can only be used when describing sparkling wine from the Champagne region of France, the name Kobe is reserved exclusively to describe Wagyu cattle raised in the Kobe region of Japan for more than 1800 years. Hence, any Wagyu cattle raised outside of Kobe must go by the names Wagyu or Kobe-style.
