All week I heard about the "must win" that the Eagles needed to notch today. Philly was a desperate team and therefore dangerous.

Well, next week Atlanta will be just as desperate, and I look forward to a similar result.

The moral of the story? Desperation does not fare well against pure talent and momentum!

Don't eat the cheese. You can't get caught in the mouse trap.

It's a popular sports cliche, but it rarely works out that way. The Saints were pretty desperate for wins during the 7-9 years, but that didn't stop them from losing handily when they needed the wins.

The only team that's going to beat the Saints at this point are the Saints. They need to maintain focus and not start to lose their edge.
