we better not even think about drafting or signing nobody on offense this offseason. Except for o-line. Everything else better be on defense

Yeeeeep! Counting the preseason we've now lost 7 straight... and the fun doesnt stop there, our schedule only gets harder we will most likely end up 0-7 with a good shot to be something around 2-14.

The good news? We will be the #1 pick in the draft. Thats all i got.

they won't even sniff 7-9. tank the season. get top 5 pick and draft a D stud.
With the way we've been drafting and fa signing, doesnt matter who we signed, our coaches will turn them into busts. Coach payton and his buddies need to hit the road.

The preseason was not pretty, but the massive number of defensive injuries has doomed this team for 2016. You just can't win and I mean any team, when you lose as many players to injury as we have on defense. Just think we now have lost Lewis, Breaux, Williams, Swan, Rankins, Ellerbe, Kihaha and Davidson (tonight). I am probably missing one or two more, but the point is when you are starting CB's that were either not on the roster at seasons start or two CB's that were undrafted rookies, it is tough to go against NFL offenses, who will exploit any weakness.
Injuries are a part of the NFL so this team just has to suit up guys who are healthy and will at least give great effort week to week.

Did he really say "I love being right"?

Wow. That is...wow.

Must be a coping mechanism. Things are dreary on the field with the injuries and time running short with Drew Brees as our QB...

So find solace in being right about...the obvious? That we're in the middle of a rebuild?

I honestly don't get what people expect. I did think tonight would be one of our wins. But c'mon. This season was always going to be rough. You don't go from an all-time bad defense to something good overnight unless you spend like crazy in free agency...which we cannot do thanks to the bad contracts we're trying to get from under.
