METAIRIE, La. -- New Orleans Saints receiver Willie Snead said that no camera angle will convince him otherwise. He is positive that Denver Broncos safety Will Parks stepped out of bounds Sunday while returning a blocked extra point 84 yards for a two-point conversion that beat the Saints.
“I’m going to think that all the way through until I pass away,” Snead said.
But Snead agreed with everyone else in the Saints’ locker room that it’s their job to move on from it. To learn from the painful reminder that so many NFL games come down to just one or two points or plays sometimes -- and to find a way to not be undone by a blown extra point attempt going forward.
“We should’ve won Sunday. Everybody in here knows it. But at the end of the day, it is what it is, and we have to be professionals and move on and learn to accept the bad and deal with the future,” Snead said. “The future’s coming. It will be here before we know it Thursday night, and we’ve got to be ready to play.”
