He is a good FS with great range but someone needs to teach him how to attack the runner. Never seen a defensive player escorted a running back to the end zone like that.

It is depressing to watch. Worse than Deion Sanders. It's like he tags along hoping someone else will come along to make the tackle. He is a good FS with great range but someone needs to teach him how to attack the runner. Never seen a defensive player escorted a running back to the end zone like that.
It was a crappy play on MW's part, but he does that all the time as the last man, he plays against hte cutback...while he gives up a few extra yards, he didn't (before today) give up the TD...this time he just misjudged dudes speed and his place on the field. Oh well...worse things happened on the field tonight than that. That play wasn't on Marcus Williams.
He was expecting Pollard to cutback, but the angle he took pretty much ensured that Pollard didn't need to.He was jogging while Pollard was sprinting down the sideline. Can anyone explain the mind of Marcus Williams?
Yes we all know that, doesn't make the decision any less poorHe was expecting Pollard to cutback, but the angle he took pretty much ensured that Pollard didn't need to.
He was escorting him to Bourbon Street. He was jogging while Pollard was sprinting down the sideline. Can anyone explain the mind of Marcus Williams?
Better escort than the Dallas blockers and he is wearing Black and Gold, oh boy, this kid would wear out Mother Theresa's patienceHe was escorting him to Bourbon Street.
If you want to scapegoat anyone, scapegoat the first one who missed the tackleIt was a crappy play on MW's part, but he does that all the time as the last man, he plays against hte cutback...while he gives up a few extra yards, he didn't (before today) give up the TD...this time he just misjudged dudes speed and his place on the field. Yes, he does it all the time. He needs to see someone about that MN miracle. It was a crappy play on MW's part, but he does that all the time as the last man, he plays against hte cutback...while he gives up a few extra yards, he didn't (before today) give up the TD...this time he just misjudged dudes speed and his place on the field. Granderson was held, at least one other player was as well held on that play. No blindside blocks though so it’s all good.I think Granderson let Pollard slip the tackle. Williams came from the opposite side of the field but kind of watched the play unfold instead of aggressively pursuing. Not sure what that was about.
