He actually did the same in the first TD…..he could have attacked Lamb at the 15, but kept giving ground, and gave ground, and eventually tackled him at the 1.

Watch 43 run back toward the goal as Lamb is running forward toward it.

He is a good FS with great range but someone needs to teach him how to attack the runner. Never seen a defensive player escorted a running back to the end zone like that.

He seems to do well in center field but if there’s a sideline pass and he’s the only chance we’ve got.. I’m betting on the receiver

How are you still making that kind of play after the Meaningless Miracle?

It is depressing to watch. Worse than Deion Sanders. It's like he tags along hoping someone else will come along to make the tackle.

Deion is an All Time Great, probably the Best CB Ever, his so-called tackling deficiencies didn't cost touchdowns...SMH!!!

You hit the nail on the head! That was the worst effort to tackle I have seen in a long time. Had the angle and still screwed the pooch. He might make some good plays now and then but you can’t trust him. He chokes at the worst times. Marcus doesn’t choke giving the opponent a first down. He gives up crap that loses the game! I can deal with mistakes that are made going balls out but that was pure lack of effort! I think his choking is is way more than his good plays.

It reminded me of a 2-on-1 breakaway in hockey when the defender commits to take away the pass so the guy with the puck has to shoot. It would have worked great if we had a goalie.
