From my point of view the Saints organization took the real fall. Williams appears to have gotten off easy.

Easy? 12 months suspension is not easy. GW should have got a 4 game suspension, SP should have gotten 2 for that joke of an infraction.

for me this just proves that bountygate was about something personal against someone with the saints.

goodell recently said the 2nd round pick would not be given back because he believed the bounty system existed. payton was. suspended because as hc je should have known of thw bounty program, not for participating in the bounty program.

now we have the ajdmitted organizer of the bounty program that thoroughly digusted goodell 1 year ago reinstated. this was absolutley about something else.

if benson does not cause a rift among ownership this spring I may have to give up my fan support of this dieing league. the shield is broke.
