Another update: I frostbit my finger today. It stings and itches like mad. Not as bad as the ear i bit three winters ago. Now whenever that ear gets a little chilly it sears with pain.

So I take it that swimming isn't on the agenda for the day?

Mr. Freeze wouldn't go swimming up here right now.

I do plan on joining the Polar Bear Club at some point. I think I'll wait until July when the temp swells up to a sweltering 60 degrees. Some of the old timers swear it was 80 degrees up here one summer. The warmest I've ever seen was like 72.
