There are two reasons Werner looks small, the weird number and his super small pads. I swear the guy has the smallest shoulder pads in the league. Put him in some old school Andy Katzenmoyer pads and give him #52 and he'll look the part.

He's definitely a baller, but that 6'3" designation seems to be stretching it pretty far; maybe in heels. I want to say he was standing next to Gardner-Johnson at some point during a stoppage in play and they were nearly the same size and Gardner-Johnson is listed at 5'11".

This is the "Drew Brees is 6'0" tall" all over again.

Keep an eye on him when you CAN'T see his number - he seems bigger then (video was posted in another thread):

I'm not a fan of the new number rule either. its tacky and unorganized.
