Agreed.

No one deserves this. If we even had a marginally mediocre defense, we'd have multiple Super Bowls.

The problem is that we mess up on the simplest things that are just routine nature for other NFL teams. That 4th down conversion wouldn't happen with any other team. Any other team doesn't give up that two point conversion. Any other team would win with 30+ points scored.

Any other team would win with their QB throwing 4 TDs, over 400 yards, etc.

But not us. Feel sorry for Brees, really.

You can't tell me that all the defensive draft picks have been bust, I can only remember SJB as being a reach, which to me points directly at the position coaches, for not teaching or coaching them up.
