Here's what I'm NOT looking forward to:

Every time a team scores:

Commercial
Commercial
Commercial
Kickoff
Commercial
Commercial
Commercial

Joe Buck and Troy Aikman
The other guy who does the games with Brian Billick...Baldinger or whatever
Even more Cowgirls coverage now that ****and Jessica split
Reggie can't run b/w the tackles, etc...

ed hochulie
any time #9 hits the ground..especially in TC or pre-season
holding my breath when we have to punt or kick a fg...i know hartley did well, but still not a given.
the panthers..imo they are more of a threat than the darling falcons
NO DEUCE
no mckenzie
if the new defensive system struggles

NO DEUCE
no mckenzie

Brees getting hurt
Bush getting hurt
Colston getting hurt
Shockey getting hurt
Vilma getting hurt
Basically excessive injuries (especially at positions where we lack good depth)
if the new defensive system struggles
if the running game struggles

Basically the three main keys to getting into the playoffs: Remaining healthy, an improved defense and a productive running game

3rd and 1
a 42 yard FG attempt
reaching the 4th quater 2 min warning with a 3 point lead.
our pass rush on thrid and long.
the endless parade of players to IR

as for non saints stuff...

The media's slobbering love afair with Matt Ryan
The media's slobbering love afair with Brett Farve
The John Madden's slobbering love afair with <--insert populare NFL player's name here-->

first the realization that we are not going 16-0
-finding out how important Grant and Smith are to the team
-getting shafted on monday night by the refs
-being proven wrong about the Shockey trade(which i loved)
-Ellis' sophmore slump
-then realizing another nfc south team is playing good football
-watching the crowded WR/CB spot be dwindled down to no namers due to injuries
-finding out that Grant and Smith are not that important to the team
-then praying that we make a wild card spot
-looking for the silver lining in having a top 10 draft pick
spending 8 months on saintsreport complaining about how the D-line was the achilles heal

this is a pessimistic approach. the real #1 thing to not look foward to is:
Deuce running in a different uniform

The sure-to-come touching ESPN story of how far tom brady has come from his career nearly being over to being an MVP candiate. I am gonna vomit when I see it.

...and the falcons fielding a footbal team.

Why can't people figure out that ESPN hates the Patriots and really only gives them negative coverage, just a lot of it?

For example, headline today: "Only Cowboys more hated than Patriots" as opposed to "Cowboys most hated" then there was the absolute garbage way they covered that guy who stole from Brady's property as if he was an innocent victim and Brady was making him pay back an unreasonable sum.

So because they said America hates the cowboys in that headline...that must mean they hate the cowboys too? :hihi:

ESPN does not hate the patriots, by any means. You just arent satisfied with the press they get because they are your other team (I am assuming). I will, however, agree with you that they dont get the love from ESPN that the Cowboys and Steelers do.

ESPN LOVES tom brady.

The thought of no Madden covering games makes me want to do this:

:youpi-12:

I concur with the commercial thing. I need to get a DVR and start watching the game 15 minutes after it starts just to get through the commercials.

I don't get the hate for John Madden....sure he said some silly things, but that's part of his personality and the reason his commentating made things so interesting. I would rather listen to madden along than aikman and buck together. Those two are dry as "Ian Meeler's family".
