Sources: Dennis Allen’s recent mishandling of Kendre Miller’s injury created internal frustration, Miller currently healthy but can’t play (1 Viewer)

Not only is Kendra not available for this game when we really need him, but it hurt his reputation and our perception of him.

Some were calling for him to be cut and I am one that was really questioning his desire and attitude. Now I’m not sure what to think. It would be great to learn it was a doghouse thing and not a lack or desire/injury thing.

Either way, get that guy a professional stretching coach. 😁

Yeah, I'll eat my crow on Miller. That dude was running hard when he got his opportunities this season and looks to fit KK's offense perfectly. NFLPA should file a grievance against DA's handling of KM and allow him to be reinstated.

Dennis was in over his head
It feels like this particular situation was more than that. This feels punitive. Miller really seemed to be deep in Allen’s dog house. He seemed to be the only player that I recall Allen publicly chastising - during training camp.

The fact that he may have IR’d a somewhat healthy player because he didn’t like him is really foul.

The guy gets injured on the first day of camp and doesn't get on the field until well into the season and THEN almost immediately gets hurt again. Out of all the things Allen was not impressive at, I don't blame him for anything regarding Miller. That is some serious passing the buck/making excuses on Miller's behalf.

Certainly makes you wonder if he has been taking liberties and being a little “extra” with our injury reports for self-preservation purposes, doesn’t it?

Very odd reports coming out here, between this and the whole “Optional warm up time” story.
I don't know why but the 1st thing that popped in my head when I read your comment was Maybe he Wanted to get fired.

The simple fact that this is going on, the owner had to step in, and Loomis is basically saying Gayle was wrong for doing this and DA is a great coach etc etc etc, makes it very very very clear that DA would still be here and next season if it were up to Loomis, and that Loomis himself is completely out of touch with reality and needs to go.

I'm done protecting Loomis. No way, shape or form should this be happening, and he not only allowing it, but protecting the person who does this.

EDIT: A thought just occurred to me after I posted the above. It almost really does sound like DA was taking liberty with injuries, and possibly even ok with having them since theres a report that warm ups were "optional". The idea that a GM would allow this completely baffles me unless they were trying to intentionally tank the season. Its a wild concept to me, especially since theres no one that screams to me as a player who could change the franchise outside of Travis Hunter and Ahston Jeanty.

Reading Rizzi’s interview from yesterday saying we were going to start having warmup periods before practice told me all I needed to know. What moron does the same thing for 3 years and doesn’t even think to warm up his players before practice?!
Didn't Kool-Aid get placed on the injury report after an injury that happened during practice?
