SP needs to retake over playcalling (1 Viewer)

There's not much point in having Payton, who is supposed to be a masterful offensive mind and play caller, as our head coach if he's not calling the plays. He hasn't shown to be particularly good at any other aspect of head coaching.

With that being said, I'm on board with Carmichael as our next head coach if that's what they decided. It would clear up a lot of aspects of the organization to be honest.

Exactly what aspects would it clean up?

Uh . . . ambush? Ever heard of it?

If it didn't work and Indy scored you'd have crucified him.

Exactly what aspects would it clean up?

I think we have this weird setup right now where we have no real power in ownership and Lauscha and Loomis are essentially running the entire organization. Payton is running the personnel department. All 3 are too close to each other to see the forest for the trees.

I think once we have a change at head coach, whenever that happens, we'll go to a more traditional structure with Loomis running the contracts, a personnel man acquiring players and the head coach running things on the field.
