Just heard from Jay Glazer that the Saints are bringing in a 2nd ST coach to help McMahon. Reminds me of how they brought in Allen to "help" Ryan and eventually replaced him. Can only hope that's what's happening here.

Glazer usually gets it right. The fact that Noconfirma hasn't said the same thing gives me good hope.

The same way he slid Allen in under Ryan. It'll be over McMhaon by next year if he lasts that long.

"Look, it doesn't take a genius to know that any organization thrives when it has two leaders. Go ahead, name a country that doesn't have two presidents. A boat that sets sail without two captains. Where would Catholicism be without the popes?"

even if I can't disagree looking at the catastrophic plays of our ST the season.
McMahon was also the ST coach when we had THE block, THE onside kick during the SB, we had good returns stats with the kind of Reggie Bush, Darren Sproles, Courtney Roby, ...
Not too bad at Punting with Weatherford and Morstead
Hartley made some big kicks

Then I agree that the last two years, we've been really borderline... coach or talent ?

Two years? Try 6.
Bringing in a coach, if he's successful McMahon will be looking for a job in feb.

I always thought that our team's Coach was pretty special, but knowing now that we are bringing in an "Extra Special" coach for the team, there's no stopping the Saints!

Hooray, Championship, and Tacoes!

Payton may not want to totally rock the boat with the season on life support. McMahon is likely handed his papers the day the season ends.
