Other than our bad turnover differential, we have some issues with our coverage unit. I don't know what the average starting point after a kickoff for the opposing team, but it is really bad. We started the Steelers game giving them the ball on the 50 yd line. A touchback would have made them work for 30 more yards. That is a 60% increase for those who like math.

Do you think the issue is with the kickers or our coverage team.
 
I honestly think Steve Gleason makes that big of a difference. I hope he's active this week!
 
Steve Gleason is the best and has been the best special teamer on our team for years. He made the pro bowl one year because of his excellent skills.

The Steelers got good field position because Carney was constantly kicking the ball short.
 
Well -- its hard for special teams to stop the opposing kickoff return when they catch the ball at a dead run on their own 25 yard line -- perhaps someone who has the leg to kick it a little bit further would help
