The book says take the highest rated player on your board, especially at a position of need, so my head says take Watson. However, my heart says take the players that have a chance at greatness, which I believe Jenkins and Montgomery have. Given that I like a couple of tackles that should be available later and the Saints have options at OLB, I went with another guy for the DL rotation, Sylvester Williams.

I know Charlie Brown hasn't stayed healthy but if he does I like his game. Also Bryce Harris & William Robinson stepped in and played well last year. i suspect this is the reason they didnt push hard for Bushrod. i personally would be a little suprised if we take OT high.

I was in the same spot.. I decided to go with Rambo just too good to pass there.

This is why we need to trade back in the draft and pick up a 2nd round pick. SO much value even at this spot late in the round.

I went with Watson because hes currently grading out as a late 1st rount OT talent, so to get him here is an absolute steal, coupled with our need for a potential LT.

However i would love to pick up any of Rambo, Amerson, Williams or Jenkins here. Maybe if this were to happen we could trade back into the 2nd with future picks?

That would be terrific at this point in the draft.

A lot of people have him low first round, high 2nd round.

Pretty simple...I have Sylvester higher on my board than Watson.

Of the 5 boards I monitor, Sylvester is higher than Watson on 3 of them.

But the great part of a mock is that each person has a different board.

Also if I was building a board for the Saints I would have Barret Jones higher on that board than I would on a board for a different team.

Melenik has a lot of fundamental and technical issues he needs to work out, and he'll be 25 during his rookie year. That scares me.

I went Jenkins, but what's the skinny on the DT Sylvester? I really want to get another Hicks-style, under-the-radar D-Lineman this draft. I always overlook UNC players. Gotta stop that now with Butch driving....

Why is everyone so in love with Watson? He's a 25 year old right tackle who has played 20 games of football in his life. What am I missing?
