Alright mock draft time again. This is the Non-Official mock draft that we did last year and we are going to do it again as many had fun with it last year.

Each GM has a 1 hour time block to make their pick. If you think you will not be able to make your pick in the 1 hour time slot send a list of your top 10 players and either myself or Nextyear will make it for you based off who is still available. When you make your pick please try to post a picture and brief reason why you are drafting that player for your team.
Please also don't rush the GM that picks before you to hurry and make his pick. If you would like to make your pick early before your time slot because the GM before you already picked feel free to, but you don't have to beofre your time slot is expired. If the guy before you has not made his pick and his time expired you can make your pick early just like in a real draft. Also please no trading of veteran players only picks because we cannot put a value on a current vet player.
Lets have some fun!!!!

This is a full 7 round draft and we will go all the way to MR. Irrevelant!

The Saints picks will be done by a poll with the majority vote getter at the end of the 1 hour being the pick. SR members who are not the GM of a team can also vote on it.
Please keep all trade discussions off the thread and use the PM system unless you are only annoucing that you are looking to trade up or down.

OT Oday Aboushi and DE/OLB Devin Taylor have been taken. Might wanna remove them from the BPA list

With the first pick in the 5th round the Chiefs select...
VirginiaTech_logo.gif
Marcus Davis, WR, Virginia Tech
Height: 6-3. Weight: 233. Arm: 32.68. Hand: 10.28.
3/23/13: Davis had a solid Combine performance. He is a big wide out who has some deceptive speed. Davis was the Hokies No. 1 receiver in 2012 and would have even more production if quarterback Logan Thomas wasn't struggling with his accuracy all season. Davis hauled in 51 receptions for 953 yards and five touchdowns.

Davis was a backup to Danny Coale and Jarrett Boykin over the past few years. Davis had 30 catches for 510 yards and five touchdowns in 2011. He made 19 receptions for 239 yards and two touchdowns in 2010 as a sophomore.

Since I see Rocky here Treeduck sent me his pick...
The Jags select...
Syracuse_logo.gif
Shamarko Thomas, S, Syracuse
Height: 5-8. Weight: 213.
Projected 40 Time: 4.42.
Projected Round (2013): 2-4.

3/30/13: Thomas helped his draft stock with a strong week at the East-West Shrine. He was very physical with running backs and receivers downfield. Thomas showed nice hitting ability to go along with an aggressive style of play. The senior totaled 88 tackles, three forced fumbles and two interceptions this year.

Thomas was excellent at the Combine. He put up one of the fastest 40s for any safety prospect. Thomas did well in the other field work and bench press, too. He really stood out and continued his strong postseason.

Thomas had good tackle totals as a freshman, sophomore and junior, but didn't record any interceptions and only had five passes broken up over those three seasons. He needs to work on his pass coverage, but has some developmental potential. Thomas' height is a big concern as receivers will have an advantage over him.

With the 3rd pick in 5th Round the Eagles select:

ChadronState_logo.gif
Garrett Gilkey, G, Chadron State
Height: 6-5. Weight: 314. Arm: 31 3/4. Hand: 10 3/8.
40 Time: 5.33.
Projected Round (2013): 4-6.

130124143438-garrett-gilkey-football-story-top.jpg

garrett-gilkey_5479.jpg

3/16/13: Gilkey already has an NFL body, and he held his own at the Senior Bowl against the better competition. Gilkey played left tackle in college, but will have to move inside in the NFL. He was a 3-year starter at left tackle for Chadron State and collected a lot of conference awards.

Gilkey is monstrous. Has the feet of a left tackle , but the body of a huge gaurd. He has the kind of versatility we love in our Philly offensive lineman.

Ok then the Lions select....
Illinois_logo.gif
Terry Hawthorne, CB, Illinois
Height: 6-0. Weight: 195.
40 Time: 4.44.
Projected Round (2013): 3-4.
3/30/13: Hawthorne was one of the best players on the field at the East-West Shrine. He did very well in man coverage and was physical. Hawthorne also showed more ball skills than previously thought. The strong week should help him on draft day.

Hawthorne followed that up with a good Combine and ran faster than expected. He is a sleeper corner who could turn into a steal.

Aside from a rough game against Louisiana Tech's Quinton Patton, Hawthorne was playing well in 2012 until he suffered a concussion against Wisconsin. He was knocked unconscious and was taken off the field in an ambulance. Hawthorne was having a tremendous outing against Badgers cornerback Jared Abbrederis, a speedy receiver who is a tough coverage matchup.

Hawthorne returned to action after missing one game. He had 44 tackles and six passes broken up this season. Hawthorne also averaged 22 yards per kick return.

 i think he'll end up a huge steal

With the 5th pick in the 5th round, the Seattle Seahawks select:

Dwayne Gratz, CB, UConn

Height: 5-11. Weight: 201. Arm: 30 7/8. Hand: 10 1/2.
40 Time: 4.47.

156904353.0_standard_730.0.jpg

Gratz is a physical corner with great measurables and a lot of potential. For his career, he totaled eight interceptions for 152 return yards, including a 46-yard interception return for a touchdown against Oklahoma in the 2011 Fiesta Bowl.

Player Summary: 3/30/13: Gratz was one of the Combine's most impressive cornerbacks. He had a good 40 time, did well in the field drills and showed some power in the bench press. Gratz has really helped himself since the end of the season. He was solid at the Senior Bowl and clearly is a hard worker who puts in the preparation time.

Gratz totaled 53 tackles with 11 passes broken up, three interceptions and a forced fumble this year. He is a solid cover corner who also plays the run well. Gratz had three interceptions and 53 tackles in 2011 as well.
