Just posting this for you guys, this is a Guitar World exclusive stream of the newly released bonus cd that comes with the new Texas Flood Legacy Edition. The show is Live at Ripley's Hall Philadelphia, 1983

Exclusive: Stevie Ray Vaughan Live at Ripley

That version of Little Wing is AMAZING, and So Excited is on the disc. Haven't listened to all of it yet but this is definitely worth buying.

That's pretty cool. Not too long ago I downloaded off of Traders Den a couple of SVR shows....10-20-83 and 8-17-84. Haven't decoded and listened yet but from the comments on the thread they are good.

I wish they would release some of his stuff with Lou Ann Barton. It's fascinating to hear his early days and having Lou Ann singing is not a bad thing either.

Lookee here: SRV and Lou Ann Barton.

It's on Traders Den. Shows there are 12 seeders. You would have to setup an account if you haven't to access and of course know how to download and convert the files.

Here's the show info:

boots do. However, the lineage of this set is definitely known, and it is guaranteed to be 1st gen from the master reel,
along with the source information contained in this edition, which was copied from the box of said reel. If anyone
reading this has indisputable knowledge of the 1978 date, please provide some proof. Otherwise, please update any
discography which collects this kind of data with this current info.

I have that show, it has Shake Your Hips on it, great stuff!

I haven't bought this Legacy Edition yet but I did buy the one of Couldn't Stand the Weather. It had the Montreal 1984 show on it, that was a great show.

My favorite SRV show was Carnegie Hall. If you look around there is a "complete" version of it, that has many, many songs they cut from the released version of the album

That's a gem with Stevie playing along with that horn band

I sent Geauxboy a copy yesterday. Haven't listened to the whole thing yet but the samples I listened to sounded good.

I have this Carnegie Hall show if you want it. I can send it to you, just let me know. It's the complete show.

I got the artwork loaded already, go ahead and buy this one. It's worth it!

I'm gonna bust it out tonight. I wanna look at the one I have from around that same time to see if there are any dupes of any of these songs. Not that it matters of course.

If you bought the 1999 remaster, this one sounds just like it, but only one bonus track, the '83 version of Tin Pan Alley. Disc 2 made it totally worth it, much better show than the Montreal '84 show that came with the Couldn't Stand the Weather Legacy Edition.

I hope they do a Legacy Edition of "In Step" that's really his best album IMO with Crossfire, Scratch N Sniff and Let Me Love You Baby.

Sorry, should have been more clear. I meant that I was gonna play the cd that TXSAINTFAN got for me.

It's a nice recording but I wish SRV didn't sound muffled. Otherwise, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
