After reading the 'Treated Fairly' article what are your guys views on stallworth's comments about horn. Do you believe what he said about the saints purposely not giving Joe the ball this year? I for one don't and I believe he needs to keep his mouth shut. I think he is still a little bitter about the trade.

I think Stallpepper is just trying to create a controversy, a distraction, for the Saints and call attention to himself. It's crazy talk that Payton and Brees would have purposefully gone away from an open Horn and tried to throw to someone else just because Loomis and Benson don't want him to hit his incentives so they can get out of paying him more. What are the odds that Horn's lack of production this season has to do with missing several games due to his groin injury? Hmmmmm........Stallpepper is just bitter because Payton called him on his lack of discipline and recognized that a 7th round draft pick could out-perform him.

Usually he says good things about Horn and the Saints. I think this is more game week smack.

well, when he pulls his hammy in warm-ups, he can talk all he wants on the sideline

Joe said in the same article, "That's Donte's opinion, not mine."

Donte has spoken this earlier in the season also. He's been playing that "poor Joe" card for a while. He's trying to create an ally. Joe probably has some of the thoughts that Donte has but I don't think they are accurate. We have more dynamic players than ever before and all of them are getting lots of touches. Brees uses more receivers to our benefit than most qb's in the league, and that's going to lower the touches of anyone, and once you add to that the age and injuries beginning to plague Joe.... well, he knows what game he's in. I hope Joe gets in to the games and get's to show his stuff this playoff season to help make a case for himself and his value to this team as a leader and teacher.
He's been a better person this year than he's been in years passed from my perception. Less of a "me" guy and less interested in creating T.O. type spectacles. I'll miss him if he's not around in the future.

Stallworth is a piece of garbage. Some people seem to love him, but all he did around here is refuse to play with any kind of minor injury and underachieve while he was on the field. He collected a paycheck and did very little for the Saints. He can run his mouth all he wants, but he is a problem I am glad the Saints on longer have. He should be booed on Saturday night.

People will say ANYTHING to augment the hype during a game like this....I am the only Saint in a virtual sea of Iggles fans here in PA, and you should hear the intentional fights I'm drumming up. Nothing is better than this, except for that WINNING feeling on Saturday night!

That's not true, across the board. Try again.

Er, no.

He certainly underachieved and has always been a prima donna. The difference is that Hasbeen put up with it and Payton did not. If you recall, Stallworth-less whined as soon as Payton got here that he was working the players too hard (even though Donte sat on the sidelines with another injury and did NOTHING, as usual). He wants to try and create controversy by complaining that Horn is purposely not being thrown to. Yet, Horn in 10 games did almost identically what Stallworth achieved in 12! I guess Reid is purposely trying to keep the ball away from him as well. How fair is that Stallwoth-less?

I personally don't care about what he thinks. He isn't down here, and Joe said that it was not his opinion, not Joe's.
