Nielsen was someone I follow ever since he got hired. Honestly, everyone including myself did not know much about Nielsen. Figure after Bill Johnson was let go, we were hoping to hire someone with some NFL experiences or any big names assistant floating around at the time. It was a head scratcher hearing Nielsen as the new defensive line assistant. I went onto You tube and search for his name. I wanted to see his coaching style and I suddenly became a fan. His time at NC State, he had one of the top defensive line unit in college. Responsible for coaching one of the top defensive player coming out of college in Nick Chubbs. He was such a hands on approach person and would be a teacher of players. Every players that he coached had high praise for this man.
