How many yards receiving did Snead end up with?

Those stats really highlight just how bad the defense and special teams are. A shut-down corner and/or a double-digit sack artist would would the defense around and put this team over the top.

And the game could’ve been won except for the INT in the end zone. Happy with the way that they didn’t give up. I’m more happy that this season is over and we can look forward to next season.

That's the stat that pleases me the most.

And in two weeks time, when fans are crushed with another 46-2 loss, Atlanta fans will burn their city down. For the second time.

Se we came into the season injured at corner then lost our top two in Breaux and PJ we were without Rankins got little production from Anthony because of the decision to go with veteran help which didn't pan out but likely Robertson filled that gap.

This team is well coached on both ends we just need the season when it all comes together a d that includes being healthy we get that we are in the playoffs and I think next year will be that year because we will have an addition draft and FA period in which to improve talent and depth on both offense and defense along with getting I need starters back.

The Saints' only loss to a losing team all season was to the defending NFC champs, who they also beat. The other 8 losses were teams with winning records. They also beat 2 teams with winning records. On average, less than half of the teams in the NFL have a winning record, not 10/16 (62.5%). Of course, sometimes you have bad luck, but luck matters. For example, 13-3 can be a #1 seed (this year, 2009) or a #3 seed (2011).

With cap room, draft picks and regression to the mean in scheduling, the Saints should improve even if the current players don't actually improve, which they hopefully will.

After Atlanta took their foot off the accelerator and coasted to their first round bye.

This is not a repeat from 2012, 2014, or 2015.

Three games lost on blocked kicks. 2 BS pass interference calls. A fumble against KC......
This team could have easily been 10-6.

Unlike '14 and '15 these guys looked like they actually gave a squat.
