Video Steve Gleason --- Roger Goodell Interview (1 Viewer)

such an odd interview from a Saints fan perspective. It seemed almost like they were dancing around this topic of admitting when you are wrong. I am quite sure that Gleason's questions had to be screened though. And the irony that it was a documentary for a good cause involving Steve that ended up being the catalyst for BG.

Summary for those that can’t stomach RG even for SG.

they talked a lot about parenting specifically of girls since they both came up around all boys.

the talked about Good Ella father who was a senator who first was in favor of the Vietnam war and then opposed it. Goodwill used that as a time to talk about doing the right thing even when it was unpopular

then Steve talked about admitting when you are wrong and asked RG what made the NFL change in regards to kneeling. Here Goodell sounded sincere - perhaps the only place. He actually addressed the racism and trying to hear the players.

they did also talk about bringing the Saints back after Katrina when Goodell was Taliabues right hand man. And they talked about them energy in the dome and how that led to them awarding NOLA another SB.

no. What we would all want to hear did not come up.
