Is it me, or did Stinchcomb seem to bristle at Vilma? Got off to a rough start with Vilma's ribbing about practicing against the O-Line, and I thought he was going to go full Jim Everett when Vilma called him Streif.

He called Stinch Streif later in the game as well. IDK, to me, it came off as friends ribbing each other.

I think it was a slip-up. Was calling him Stinch and I guess that's not very far from Streif. But Stinch didn't seem to appreciate it.

Their chemistry was... weird to say the least. However, I really like Joel Meyers and Megan Payton.

Even if Megan had nothing else going for her (far from true lol), the fact that her dad is more candid with her than other reporters makes her a keeper.

They have always been like that, Vilma always brags about how good the defense was at practice. Didn't notice him call him Strief but I'm sure it's all fun and games.

I wish Joel could do football as well, he just has great chemistry with anybody.

I took it as mostly good natured ribbing from former teammates on the opposite side of the ball. Stinch had a mean streak in is playing days where he was at the center of training camp fights with Houston when they used to have a week of practice with them prior to a pre-season game.

Honest to God, I do it all the time. I'm thinking of going with the Striefcomb portmanteau.

Honestly, I didn't enjoy the two of them ribbing each other the entire game. I appreciate guys showing some personality and giving each other a hard time for fun, but not ALL game. That got old real quick. The good ones know how to balance having fun and being professional. It's mostly Stinch egging Vilma on because I don't think he really knows what else to do. I'd replace Stinch if I were in charge, but well, I'm not.

THIS. When I first heard him say Strief. I thought at first he just didn't want Vilma to call him by his last name. Then when I realized it was Stinch in the booth, i was like OH lol.
