Georgia will be missing most of it's key players for various reasons. The guys headed to the NFL are sitting out, several were suspended, several more didn't make the grades, some more are not playing for undisclosed reasons. Normally, a team depleted of it's best players wouldn't stand a chance in a big game. Baylor was undefeated just a couple games ago and was being considered for the playoffs before taking the L. Despite all this, Baylor is a +3.5 point dog. It's that time of the year when you get to see how people rank a team high then bet against them because they know they aren't very good.

Game could be really interesting. Georgia still has far more talent even with the suspensions but they haven't played together at all and Georgia mailed it in during the Peach Bowl. For Georgia, this is a good chance to get experience to younger players and start building on next season. For Baylor and the Big 12, this is their chance to prove they belong in Division 1.

Yep your post sums up Bowl season. Unless it's an L.S.U bowl game, it is very hard to watch. Don't blame players for sitting out. Why risk millions of dollars with an injury. I think it's funny how the media critisizes those who do sit out a game.

Georgia playing strong

S-E-C! S-E-C!

The QB for Baylor just went out with what looks like his 4th concussion of his collegiate career

Feel bad for the kid...he needs to give serious consideration to giving up football

And Georgia lived up to its penchant, well-deserved reputation as a SEC team who recruits and encourages players who are hyper-active and or prone to late hit or questionable out-of-bounds hits to opposing team QB's, RB's, or WRs during games at critical moments. Their not the only ones in SEC who do this, but they are lot more obvious, and bit more blatant about that behavior then let's say Texas A@M, Arkansas, or Florida.

Their were close to half a dozen roughing the passer, late hit, borderline targeting calls called on Georgia defenders tonight. Also that unwarranted late hits out of bounds like against Baylor's Charlie Brewer. What #44 did to Brewer was unnecessary and epitomized the type of punk arse maternal fornicators one sees or has a tendency to develop at Georgia over the past 20-25 years.

The Big 12 should be a stronger football conference than they are these days. But since I’ve always been an SEC guy, I don’t mind. ?
