I had a couple of hours to kill in Vegas before a flight a few years back. Spent them at the Pinball Hall of Fame (https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Attra...ws-Pinball_Hall_of_Fame-Las_Vegas_Nevada.html).

Apparently it's just moved to a larger location on the strip now - http://www.pinballmuseum.org/.

If you like pinball, I'd highly recommend checking it out. Doesn't open until 11am though.

I mentioned atop a golf earlier but just thought about Counts Customs Cars. Take about 2 hours and kinda cool. I liked it.

For filling that morning time slot, I would suggest that you go to Mon Ami Gabi at Paris Casino and get an outdoor table on the patio. Spends those 4-5 hours having bloody marys/mimosas/screwdrivers or any other "morning" drinks while you watch the greatest free show in town as all the eccentric and electric people walk by in front of you.
