I hate that vested vets have to go through waivers after the trade deadline. His big game experience would benefit any team in contention this year and it's doubtful he makes it that far down the line unless he's injured or something else is preventing him from being a factor this season.

I know he's old and past his prime, but he's the type of player I want to bring in to replace the Davenport loss. He can give this defense that swagger and confidence to push them over the top.

Plus their aren't many better options out there.
