Last Sunday the Saints had a big defensive game. They might have another against Carolina.

Kyle Allen's passing completion has been horrible the last 4 games and he has thrown 9 INT. Compound that with 18 sacks against him the last 4 games. Since there is tape out on him now the better defensive teams have figured out Allen.

Should the Saints stop McCaffrey it will be hard for Carolina to move the ball. Though more likely Christian will put up some numbers but it will not be enough to challenge the Saints D.

Good post OP.
We must limit McCaffrey. Period. And as I harp on all the time, win TOP win the game.

This is a textbook case of “don’t let your opponent’s best player beat you” or in this case, their only player. That’s a tough task with Mccaffery though since he can take it 80 yards at any time.

I’d prolly have a combo of Davis/Alonso and Bell/CJGJ shadow him all game. Play single high safety and put Vonn in the box. Make Allen beat us with his arm.

That's why I prefer the Saints to face a Kyle Allen versus a 100 percent healthy Cam Newton. We should sweep them this season. Hopefully, everything is locked up in regards to the postseason when they head to Charlotte in Week 17.

Ron Rivera could be playing for his job. Their owner made it clear yesterday that he was not happy losing to the last place Falcons and that "long-term mediocrity will not be accepted".
