Before I start.......I am a enternal optimist, so this post will have that flavor!!
We shot ourselves in the foot....over and over again and that my friends reminds me of many days of Saints football. What I will say........they never gave up. Not until the final gun..........that is unlike many Saints teams of the past. We are 5 - 2........that is much better than even I thought we could be at this time of the season. The season is NOT over.....it was just a bump in the road for a good group of players and a excellent coach. In the Iron Mike and Jim Haz era, we would have given it up just past the 1st quarter. Yesterday...........they never gave up and I do not expect them to ever give up. They fought to the end...what more can you ask???
Better day are ahead. I am already excited about next weeks game......I can not wait to see them play!!
