Super Bowl commercials 2013 (1 Viewer)

I really liked the other locally-shot ones; the two Bud Light ads. the guys loading the chair onto the streetcar was funny.
I also liked the Hyundai "Team" ad where the kid goes out and collects a team of tough kids.

I thought the Taco Bell one (old people partying) and the Montanaland ones were funny.

The Hyundai add had potential, but it just seemed to end (anti-climactic).

I think we've reached a point where we can stop acting like Super Bowl commercials are anything special. The vast majority of what they aired last night is the same kind of stuff you'd see any other night of the week. It's been like this for a few years now. The era of "I watch the game for the commercials" is pretty dead at this point.

the.only 2 I liked were the Montana land and the Doritos goat commercial.

This was by far the best.

Both Doritos and "de land a ten touzand lake" had me rollin. That was either voice overs or that white guy nailed the patois.

Any love for Jeep? Honoring our troops or using them?

I thought it was pretty powerful when I first saw it.

Anyone see the dodge commercial with a preacher giving a speech about american farmers??? Very good. I think it was a preacher, kinda sounded like Paul Harvey. Anyway it was really good.

got it

It sounded like Paul Harvey, because it was Paul Harvey. It said so right at the beginning. :ezbill:

:hihi: coke blew it. I have a feeling there is a job opening this week. If you ask me, it was a fail even if the site did not go down.

Coke interactive commercial - site goes down

Coke tried to make its mark on this year's Super Bowl with an interactive commercial, but things did not go as planned.

The interactive commercial would have been pretty exciting, but Coke's website went down just as viewers were trying to cast the first votes, Mashable reports.

And now a parody of the Paul Harvey-farmer-Dodge commercial.

Actually my favorite was this one, which I assume was a local feed commercial right around halftime from HEB: "Texas Myths". My kids laughed as loud as I did. They're still going "Kids! Breakfast!" sometimes in the morning.
