Has it ever irked anyone that the SB winning team's owner is the first one to hold up the Lombardi trophy? Or, annoy you that they are the first ones to speak? The players and coaches are the ones spending countless hours away from their families. The ones studying playbooks, going over film, having tough meetings, and so on. In Hockey, the captain is the first to lift the cup. In basketball, the owner is rarely the first to speak. I don't watch baseball. Don't know about them.

I know it's a weird topic. Sorry for ranting.

The owner is the one that spent all their money and took all the risk to own the team. Without solid ownership, the team won't win a superbowl. It's their team and they deserve to speak first. But like you said, this is a weird topic to get upset about. Especially in the middle of Falcons Hate Week.
