Wow that's cool. Don' know if it's already been discussed but a few weeks ago they installed a 360 degree camera system for replays. They installed one camera for every 10 degrees. We're the first to get it (wonder why). We'll be able to review plays from anywhere on the field from 36 angles (outside of the normal broadcast angles.

Wonder what other upgrades 350 million will get. That's serious money.

It's one of the most iconic venues in all of sports. When you think of New Orleans, The Dome is one of the first things you think about. Even people who don't follow football know it.

It's a national icon. When you see The Sydney Opera House, you know it's Sydney. When you see the Golden State Bridge, you know it's San Fran. When you see Big Ben, you know it's London. When you see The Dome, you know it's NOLA.

In America we tear down our Roman Colosseums. Hopefully this one never comes down.

Doesn't look like construction will be starting until Jan 20, 2020.

This is absolutely wonderful observation and commentary on who we are.

We are a relatively young culture with a relatively short history. Living in Lafayette, I really appreciate the impact of this statement.

I hope their next project afterward is to tear down the Champion Square Parking garage and expand the Champion Square with stores, restaurants, more public restrooms, and a small park.

An important upgrade for an economy built largely on tourism and entertainment. No one does it better! This should also ensure a spot in an ever-elongating line for hosting Super Bowls. No one does that better, either

One naive wish would be for more comfy seats in the terrace, or at least seats where the lumbar supports go back a bit and aren't straight up and down. Living with more back trouble as I get older, unfortunately!
