It's the curse of being athletically gifted at an early age and why players like LJ need to be careful. If you can excel with your raw athletic talent, coaches will not push you to refine yourself as a passer. Cam never took the time to study the game and refine himself early on. I agree with Steve Young that Raven's offense is too run-heavy and dependent on his running ability. Fortunately, it seems he's been working hard to improve as a passer. What happened to Tua last night is just another example that teams frequently do not care about the player's long-term well-being.

I think very few care at all.
