*Pick a winner (no point spread involved) of any NFL game during week 1. your username/password. If problems arise on the main website, you can place your pick w/n this very thread.
*If the team you selected wins their week 1 game, you continue to week 2. If your team of choice lost their week 1 battle, you have been pigskinned from SURVIVOR BOWL already and should be ashamed of yourself!
*A team may only be selected once during the season to win their game(exp. if you pick the Saints in week 1, you may not select the Saints again for the remainder of the SURVIVOR BOWL )
*You continue in the SURVIVOR BOWL until a loss (or tie) is suffered, then you're out of the pool. YES, TIES ARE LOSSES!
*A winning pick must be in before the very last game starts for that week or you will be pigskinned.
*Picks selected in the thread will supersede what is entered in the system. The official record for your pick will be in the thread if they system has an error, or some other mishap. Just notify jread2 or d3cyph3r by a PM to update it.
*Any pick not submitted by any of the deadlines set within the rules posted each week will be considered a loss and the contestant will be eliminated from SURVIVOR BOWL
*The game will continue until one contestant remains.
*If all remaining contestants are eliminated in the same week, the contest will consist of a tiebreaker. The highest point total from all picks combined will win!

Anybody having issues getting into the website, it says that I have restrictions set that won't allow me to visit the website but I haven't changed anything.

This week is going to be brutal. No obvious game left.

Well, Steelers is the obvious pick, but I used them weeks ago.
Oh I still have the Steelers.

But yeah we could get a lot of people go down.

I think GB just became a prohibitive favorite with SF and it's covid issues.

Plus I always like a quality team that's coming off a loss.

You're lucky to have them this week.

I wouldn't touch that Green Bay game with a 12 foot pole; way too unpredictable between those two teams. Plus, if the Frisco CoVid issues grow, the whole game might be postponed.
The bad part is I have that same " too close to call" reaction for nearly every game available for me! Finally settled on the Cardinals over the Dolphins, but I am very nervous about that one, even.

EDIT: WOW! I just looked at the latest update on the Green Bay/Frisco game. Between the CoVid players out and the other injuries, 9ers barely have enough players to field a team, I swear. They basically have no receivers for one thing.
It's crazy the NFL is playing this game. I'm changing my pick to Green Bay...

Oh man you blew it.

This game was nearly as easy as the Pittsburgh game, seriously.

Only 2 are out today

So 26 remain.

I can't believe I had to endure this Steelers game.

That's why they call it survivor bowl.

Almost had a massacre today. The Steelers had many of us sweating it out.

Week 10 is ready for picks. Those of us who picked New England can finally breathe a little. At least we don't have to pull for them again. 26 survivors remain.

Steelers and Patriots just wanted everyone to sweat, apparently.

I think if the players hadn't suddenly realized in the fourth quarter that they were in Cowboy uniforms, they might have won. But they suddenly remembered who they are, and started playing like garbage again. Hooray for consistency, I guess... :giggles:
