A little reminder that Rivera took away from the defensive playcalling from Washington right before the Panthers played the Browns.

If Washington was still calling the plays, our offense puts up at least 30 points tonight even with our patchwork o-line. Rivera is a much better playcaller, and we survived the Panthers' best defensive effort this year.

Agreed. If Carolina fires Rivera, it would be a huge mistake for them....but would greatly help us, so I hope they do it.

He's not a bad coach AT ALL. Defense is never the problem with his teams. The defense does what they're supposed to unless they're banged up like in 2016. Their problem has always been disappointing offenses and the inconsistent week to week play of Cam Newton. Never know which version of Cam Newton is going to show up week to week.
