I tell you what if he is signed, it is going to be one hell of a outside lb battle in TC, but we will see. These contracts that we are throwing at these players. I like it, we aren't breaking the bank for these guys. It is league min. deals at if you play good one side helps the other. We help your status in FA the following year, you help us and if the agreement is mutual then we can talk long term if you are worth it. The more competion, the better.

If you throw enough crap on the wall some of it will stick. Morgan and Spikes have their problems, but you'd have to think at least one of them would stay healthy and beat out Shanle.

May the healthiest, most productive man win. Maybe one can play half the year, and the other can finish. I like the move. Dude has got a very large neck. Always liked him. That achilles injury was a shame. Eagles still like him, but aren't willing to pay. Move would be good for both parties. Low risk, good reward.

I slightly agree/disagree.

Sorry, Bro, but no he didn't. He was not a playmaker and that's why he was released by the Eagles.
The issue really isn't about being a beast, playmaker or etc. This is about can he upgrade our lb corp. In one quick answer, yes. We are trying to provide versatility to a corp that has been very vanilla and bland. Not a knock on the guys but 2 of the three are backups on any other lb squad and fujita isn't a world beater himself. Solid to pretty good is a very good compliment to fujita who imo wouldn't start for alot of contending teams in this league. Competion is good for this guys and is something that is long overdue hopefully it will bring out the best in all of them and if they all are healthy, we will have THE BEST DEPTH AT LB IN THE NFL.

Heres his stats from last year. He was SECOND on their WHOLE TEAM in Total Tackles. Don't tell me he didn't have a good year. He shows he is still getting it done while being old.

Eagles have other lbs already groomed to take his place not costing 5 mil/year. We have 0 linebackers. All we did this off season was bring in 2 guys coming off injuries with one of them having never played a full season. If Morgan does go down like we all anticipate, I will not like the situation of Simoneux or Shanle starting in his place.

He did pretty well for the eagles. T Spikes @80% > our starting lbs last year. If we bring him in with an incentive laden contract, I'm all for it.
