The only time they've ever had a good new look was when they debuted the red/pewter motif in '97. Ever since then, every change they've made has been way too play-it-safe except for the alarm clock numbers. They dared to suck and, by God, they suckceeded.

Yep they missed on that one. The Orange Creme Sicle ones would of been cool and brought back a classic Uni.

Changing uniforms is a process that takes either 2 or 3 years.

It looks like they simply went back to the Tony Dungy era uniforms. Those were clean and simple compared to the debacle of a uniform they've had the past few years. This is a big improvement.

they realized the no one like the alarm clock version, IE no one bought them. this isn't "new" its a rollback.
