  1. .. 1st of all, i'm not understanding all this love-fest for the Eagles.. I mean damn, I fly down there for my 1st Saints game in the Superdome, and they absolutely destroyed the Eagles, I mean for my 1st Saints game I couldn't have asked for anything more, was just as I expected.. Now, fast forward to this current day and time, and between the big mouths on TV and my fellow co-workers constantly asking me "ya think the Saints have it this weekend ??" .. smh.. I mean really, did something happen that I don't know about ?? .. & nm Foles, I don't care who's running that offense, I seen what I seen in week 11, that D is just straight harrrrrd, Eagles are about to find out what happens pt. 2.. add to that the Saints O-line is rested and ready to go, and to that you got coach wheeling around cash and a trophy, setting mousetraps, etc.. I mean I just don't get it, hardly a peep on NFLN, ESPN, etc.., almost like no one really wants to believe the Saints are the TRUE #1 seed.. my money sez that Payton is let'n our fellas know that "this game" is the one that shoulda' been played last year, and personally I think they're gonna kick the living crap out of the Eagles (again).. No fanfare, no hype, no props from the media ?? GOOD!.. IMO, the quieter the better, and if anyone doesn't believe it, [Mod edit TVP seek a higher level]

Agreed. Counter to your point, I LOVE that fact that none of our players have said a damn word about anything really. I fully believe that Sean has this group laser focused and we are going to go in and show everyone why we are the SB favorites!! WHO DAT

If they were talking about us they would probably be talking about how badly our offense has played lately. Until we get on the field and show some domination again I’m not sure what there is to talk about. Can’t wait til Sunday.

I was listening to Sirius NFL Radio on my way to and from work today and hardly heard anything about our game. But the reason for that was actually positive towards the Saints. The morning talk was based on what team had the best chance of upsetting the higher seed. They barely mentioned our game. Then they opened up the phone lines and no caller mentioned ours as the game that had that opportunity. Then the afternoon crew was talking about the “best” games this weekend and I only heard ours mentioned once. It was when they said that our game could potentially be close, but the Saints have a strong possibility of blowing it up early and making it uninteresting. So it’s not really a knock on us to not be mentioned, it’s that they expect a possibly boring game due to our talent differential.

Hope it's different day, same results!

Very confident in our defense. We've faced Foles before. He pressed against the Bears and threw two interceptions. He's going to have to equally press to make plays against us because we're not the Bears offense.

Worried about the health of the O-line like everyone. As for the media, I'm going with the premise that they KNOW the Eagles won't be left around next week to talk about, not that they believe in their heart of hearts the Eagles are going all the way again.

Sorry. I just had to edit your post so that I could read it.

I think the reason you have not seen much publicity on the Saints match-up is the real possibility of another beatdown. Any analyst worth their salt knows the Saints are the better team. It will take special circumstances for the Eagles to win. I think there is a better chance of another beating than an Eagles win. I see a double digit Saints win.

Offense hasn't been good for the last month and a half. OL is banged up. Kamara isn't the same. I understand fans panicking.

I remember all the overconfidence and 'dominate them' talk before the Cowboys game. Then the game happened.

That makes me nervous to a degree. I like our chances at home, but don't think it will be a blowout. I expect a close hard fought game.

The 'Minnesota Miracle' also made me not count my chickens.
