Team needs: New Orleans Saints | ProFootballTalk
The Saints can’t possibly fix all their defensive issues in a single offseason, even if they had all their picks, which they don’t. They made a quick run at cornerback Keenan Lewis and signed defensive end Kenyon Coleman, but need more help there as well. They also need to find a young quarterback, as backup Chase Daniel split for Kansas City.

Having Brees reunited with back-from-Elba coach Sean Payton gives them a little flexibility there, as the expected offensive uptick will limit the need for Ryan to turn the defense into the 1985 Bears. But the Saints made history last year with their porosity, and now they’re changing the scheme to one that’s an odd fit for the existing personnel.
not a great read, but still always interesting to get an outsider's point of view. Florio should really stick to the legal stuff though. This evaluation is almost as bad as his mock drafts. Not much research and effort was put into this. But that's ok, let us fly under the radar. We like it that way. :9:

Nothing earth shattering. The national media seems to do minimal research when it comes to us. At least he got an update of all of our recent FA acquisitions...nevertheless, thanks for posting.

yet again, an article by a journalist who barely did any homework.

wide receiver? Nick toon runs the same 40 as Meachem. And Joe Morgan is also fast. Saying it's a "need" is stupid.. why draft a receiver when we have to potential receivers to fill the spot? One of whom who was a high draft pick? A new draft pick wouldn't have any more likelyhood of being better than these two.

And the "round peg in a square hole..." we have a few 3-4 players. They aren't all 4-3.

must be nice to work in the national sports media. don't have to do a lick of research. get to parrot the next moron's points as if they're truth as well. sounds fun and irresponsible as hell.

Lol sad article.

CamJordan, Hicks, Galette, bunkley, Lofton, hawthorne, butler, Greer, prob, Lewis, quddus, white, Martez Wilson, Coleman, Johnson, smith, all look to fit fine and that's only naming some.
