It ain't happening if Drew wants to play. That's something everyone needs to accept more than "time for a change" being what everyone needs to get behind.

TB isn't half the quarterback that Brees is no matter how you slice it. What do you think this team would have looked like in our three consecutive 7-9 seasons if TB was the QB?

and what happens when Teddy does make a mistake? When we don't dominate the time of possession? When we don't control the football? When we don't win a playoff game or better yet, don't make the playoffs?
That's going to happen whoever replaces Drew. We might as well get this started and the team will have to draft a qb anyway.

Um, we don't know. All TH supporters say the same thing, at least we know we can win 5 tough games with Teddy, but can't seem to get back to the bowl with Drew. The is past is the past.

Then take your regular season QB.

This is what I know though.. EVEN if drew brees is on that's scoring a TD like every 2-3 minutes in the playoffs.. but if the other team moves it little by little for 4-6 minutes or longer.. the score is still the same amount

But the defense for the pass happy team that ran the ball under 20 times.. is exhausted..

In the playoffs.. teams will find a way to score even if they have a bad offense. The question is how fast are you going to respond to put a offense out there

Now clearly this wasnt the case against the Vikings because we didnt score early but.. we did in fact 3 and out trying to throw the ball over and over and over again.

WE NEED TIME OF POSSESION in the PLAYOFFS

AND WE NEVER HAVE IT because we still use the same jacked up formula that gives us the best time of possession in the regular season.. that ain't working in the post season.

Coach calls different games with Drew, Teddy and Taysom. The offense is different with each. So judging these three QBs without reference to the offensive schemes is not a legitimate comparison. Further, our players personally respond to each QB differently. And even that would probably change if Teddy or TH became permanent starters. So it’s more complicated than our SR discussions are allowing for. The only way to compare Teddy to TH might be to let Taysom start 5 games and see what happens.

Taysom Hill needs to take another jump as a passing QB in the off season for me to say he needs to be the #1

That long ball while caught.. was 5 yard underthrown

Teddy would never make that throw and Drew would never get it down the field that far lol. How do we know if he needs to make a jump if we only see 5 passes a year from him?

Not saying I'm for this quite yet since Brees might come back. But we did go 5-0 with Teddy and the playbook was being opened up more and more each week. Could Teddy have sustained his Tampa Bay type of performance the rest of the year and into the playoffs? I guess we really just don't know. Would have been interesting to see how long the streak would have lasted.

If that’s the case then it basically means the Saints have no interests in returning to championship form n are only acting to help Drew pad his lofty regular season stats

If it ain’t time for a change then it must be “time for the same ol’ shirt” bcuz even with ur back turned toward it u can see that we are no longer winning anything more significant than division titles with Drew still @ the helm. Absolutely no way anyone “needs” to accept this

TB not being as good as Drew is a moot point. The point is the Saints as a whole played with more care n urgency when TB was starting n there’s no way to get around this

Then we sub in Taysom for a few series - lol, but actually maybe not just a joke

When is the last time brees won a big game? I've been trying to.figure this out. It's time to move on. He missed his window.
