The positive for now is that we kept Ireland, who is in charge of college scouting. And our pick situation is going to be a lot more important for the next couple years than our pro scouting. But Fontenot will definitely be missed.

Unfortunately, Cie Grant, Garrett Grayson, Brady Smith, Sedrick Hodge, Alfred Fincher, Usama Young... and many others were also 3rd rounders.

At least they still have Ireland... because that pick is only as important as the player they use it on... and they just lost a great front office guy in return.
