He was buried on the depth chart. He gets a chance to play in Houston. Here, he is like 5th option which is crazy when you think that Brown & Rankins are gone and Onyemata is suspended. Again Saints winning again at finding great depth.
It really is unreal. I think we all anticipated the d-line to be a weaker group than in recent years but they just have so many guys who are competent. The roster construction on this team is incredible.

I was just thinking this yesterday, not resigning T-Rex was a really good move.

Dang it's a shame we lost him, but like the OP said he was buried pretty deep on the depth chart. It's amazing how we have quality players even on the PS that other teams want to poach from us. I wonder if the Saints bring in someone else to fill his spot on the PS.
