I liked biegel coming out of Wisconsin, but I don't think he will be a factor on defense,

Biegel was a pretty good linebacker at Wisconsin and I was excited we signed him, he is a strong side linebacker with pass rush ability at 6'3 245 and going into his first training camp with the defense should be a welcomed addition to the linebacker depth chart.

Had Davenport not gotten hurt, it might already be the case.

4 of his 4.5 sacks n 6 of his 7 TFLs came BEFORE his injury. Ironically, the injury came against Minnesota, because to date it was his best performance as a rookie.

Like last year, he still has lots of room for growth and development. But as long as he stays healthy, I think Marcus Davenport is gonna be good this year.
