Imo, he is covering for his QB. They had plenty of time to run a quick pass and call time out. Caleb just took forever. Took his sweet time and let time run and run and run while he just stood back there adjusting his sleeve and waiting for the defense to get set.

Agreed, but it's on him for not calling time out when he saw Caleb being too lackadaisical. That's how he Should have covered for his qb
 
Every Thanksgiving halftime show is such a let down since Creed in 2001.
 
At least, with this game, we know that there are at least two other NFL teams that are VASTLY worse than our Saints.
