A top ten on the list of Saints victories for me. Not only was it the Saints first appearance on Thanksgiving, but I took the trip to the Death Star. And it was a great experience. The Saints took over that stadium.
WthReggie Reggie Reggie....fumble
I guess you werent there.
Us as well . . . we were out of town with "neutral" family and inexplicably one of them started loudly pulling for the Cowboys, and we really had to curb our tongues. When Malcolm ripped that ball away from Roy Williams (almost reprising Robert Meachem's 2009 play of the year vs Washington) it was very satisfying, and even more so when Drew took the ball back down the field and then we even got a break on the last-minute Dallas FG attempt.I was just thinking about that game last night but that was six years ago?!!! Time flies
I remember watching that game at my cousin's house and I had to watch my temper since I was surrounded by family
That was just an amazing play..
The Great Thanksgiving Day Takeaway!!!
Oh yeah! Thanx for the memories. I had forgotten about that play!
You can't be serious, that wasn't MJ. Jenkins never produced any big plays for us, he was let go for a Byrd. The Roy Williams catch and run to essentially seal the game for the Cowboys and then at the very end, Jenkins swoops in and snatches the ball.
Man, I did some stress eating of turkey that day!
Great clip...I had forgotten just how awesome it was to constantly hear the phrase "Super Bowl Champion New Orleans Saints" for a full season. We were on top of the world that year. The most beautiful throw into the endzone by Brees for the game winner with a defender draped all over Moore and trying desperately to knock the ball down. That has to be beyond frustrating when you defend it perfectly and there is absolutely nothing you can do against perfection.
If I had to list all the defenders Drew Brees has ticked off during his career, I would be here all day typing.
