Only the Saints could win their game and have the team they need to win blow a 17-0 lead, at home mind you.

The chances of the Rams losing was 2% at multiple points. 49ers had no TOs and needed to go 90 yards in 1:27 and did it with time to spare. Everything that could go wrong did.

No team has dealt with more in one season than we have in all of NFL history, and it was fitting that we took another guy punch at the wire like this.

Yeah, it's like weird stuff always happens to us. We'll turn it around. Can't count on another teams to help us out. We have to do it ourselves.

Agreed. When they let the 9ers drive 88 yards in 4 plays and about 61 seconds with no TO, you knew it wasn't gonna happen.

The Rams laid down. I promise they quit this game. They saw the Cardinals score and mailed it in. They did not want to play the Saints.
There’s no way they hurt their playoff position while helping their division rival make the playoffs just to spite the Saints.

They are just that bad.

Not sure if you could actually call that a home game for the Rams. It sounded and looked like there were a ton more Niner fans than Rams.

Seriously. Their line on both sides just flat out sucked. Stafford had no time to throw. And their d-ilne couldn't get to a gimpy handed Jimmy and stop predictable run plays.

SF now goes to Dallas. I hope Dallas erases them from playoff contention.

Sigh, this defense was going into the playoffs pretty hot but I think Taysom Hill would have gave us a better shot at winning.
