I would understand if Winston was falling off the wheel to start the game. He was getting grinded for a long time and took a lot of hits before he started pressing.

But sure. Let’s keep blaming him.
I took a bit of a hiatus from SR. My middle-of-the-road effort to moderate Jameis zeal after the second Pre Season game received a bit more flame than I like.I would understand if Winston was falling off the wheel to start the game. He read defenses fine last week. And if a WR isn’t open, you can’t throw to himDefinitely not all on him, however if you can’t read defenses and pick up who is blitzing etc. Then it’s gonna be a long year!
Did you even watch the game? They had 6 or 7 men on the LoS the entire game overloading both sides. Whichever side did not have the running back blitzed and the other side bracket covered Kamara. The only option was to hit quick passes but there corners were simply better than our recovers and locked them up. You can't slide protection against double overloads. The only viable option is to run the ball and we tried and couldn't do it.Definitely not all on him, however if you can’t read defenses and pick up who is blitzing etc. Then it’s gonna be a long year!
If they are blitzing seven then someone is uncovered and open.Did you even watch the game? They had 6 or 7 men on the LoS the entire game overloading both sides. No one feels he should be handled with kid gloves.I am a Saints fan first, so when I see poor play by a player, I will say something. The idea that Winston needs to be critiqued with kid gloves, or not be criticized like Drew (even though Drew had more skins on the wall, and built up more goodwill) is asinine.
